2009 – LIVEFISH ICE FISHING TOURNAMENT RULES

1.        The Tournament is scheduled for February 7 2009 from 11:00 am, until 3:00 pm at The Sports
Dock, W278N2345 Prospect Ave. Pewaukee, WI. 53072, Located on Pewaukee Lake, Wisconsin.
Contestants will be allowed inside fishing area from 9:45 until 10:45 to claim holes. Species allowed
in this tournament will include Northern, Bluegill, pan fish, crappie, walleye & perch. NO BASS, rough
fish or bullhead allowed. Fish may be taken with tip-ups or by rod and reel. Pre-fishing is allowed until
dark the day before the tournament.
2.        Should inclement weather cause cancellation on 02/07/09, Tournament will be held on
02/08/09, same time, same place.
3.        Should inclement ice occur a random drawing will be held 02/07/08 at 11:00 am.
4.        The top 30 place prizes are determined by the largest weight and earliest time fish is
registered. In the event of a tie, the first fish registered takes priority. Any legal size fish may place in
the top 30. Contestants are responsible for verification of weight of fish at time of weigh-in. All weigh-
ins will be videotaped, the videotape may be consulted in resolving any disputes regarding this.
5.        Each person will be allowed to fish one hole per ticket purchased and only one hook/lure per
hole, three holes maximum. You may register as many fish as you want, but only the heaviest fish per
contestant will qualify for a competition prize. NO contestants will be eligible for more than one
competition prize. There is no age requirement on tournament participation.
6.        All fish entered must be brought to the judges stand immediately and be alive. Dead or frozen
fish are ineligible. Judges shall have the right to verify that fish were legally caught. The decision of
the Judge is final. All prize  winners may be required to take polygraph exams as part of the contest
requirements. In the event deception is detected his/her prize will go directly to charity.
7.        All fish must be caught and registered at the Judges’ stand by 3:00 pm on the day of the
contest.
8.        All cash prizes will be mailed to the winner within seven (7) days of the tournament. ID and
social security number required to claim cash prizes.  All ice augers will be awarded on the day of the
tournament and must be claimed by 3:30 pm. All unclaimed prizes will remain the property of
LIVEFISH LTD.





9.        Contestants must fish in the same area designated for the contest and will be required to have
their tickets visible at all times. Ticket checks as well as container inspection will be performed at
entrance and randomly during contest. No one is allowed to leave the fishing area except through the
main entrance. Porta Jons will be available in the fishing area.
10.        Contestants will be allowed to move to other unclaimed and unoccupied holes in the contest
area, we plan on having at least 1,200 holes available. You are allowed to bring as many poles as you
desire, but cannot use more than one pole, with one hook/lure per line, per hole at a time.
Contestants must use holes provided.
11.        Pre-registration entry fee for the tournament is $30.00 per hole, limit 3 per person. NO
refunds will be given for any reason. After January 23, 2009 ticket prices will be $40.00 per ticket per

12.        Contestants are responsible for their own safety, actions and property at all times.
Contestants must be in plain view from all sides at all times.  NO SHELTERS WILL BE ALLOWED!
Even clear shelters ice up, so dress accordingly.
13.        All laws of the State of Wisconsin will be abided by,  you must hold a valid Wisconsin fishing
license as required by Wisconsin laws.
14.        Prizes are the responsibility of the winners, including taxes. Proper identification is
necessary from all winners so the form 1099-MISC may be prepared and supplied to the winners.
15.        No motorized vehicles are allowed in the contest area other than contest officials and police
personnel. Any contestant bringing a motor vehicle within 100 yards of the contest perimeter may be
disqualified.
16.        Contestants are encouraged to park in the areas provided. Watch for signs. Contestants are
encouraged to carpool and use the buddy system.
17.        Coolers, and large containers are discouraged, No spears allowed, no underwater cameras
allowed. You may bring heater, chairs, bait pails and depth finders including Vexilar’s are allowed. No
bait or licenses sold on the lake BUT ARE AVAILABLE AT DICK SMITH'S LIVE BAIT AND TACKLE.
Small chisels are recommended as holes are drilled the day before.  The use of augers is not allowed.
Weighted lines without hooks can be used to check depth and claim holes starting at 9:45 until 10:45
AM. No lines may be left in the water after 10:45.  No one allowed in fishing area after 10:45 except
officials to check all holes. Official tournament will start with an announcement on the PA System at
or around 11:00 AM.
18.        Failure to comply with any contest rules subjects contestants to disqualification and removal
from the competition site, as determined by contest officials. Right to refuse to sell or revoke a
competition ticket to anyone is hereby reserved.
19.        There will be a Leader Board located in the registration area. All effort will be made to keep
the board up to date and accurate.





20.        All fish registered will be considered to have been legally gifted to LIVEFISH Ltd. and
released immediately after weigh in by officals.
21.        All contestants and other bystanders consent to the use of any photographs or likeness of
themselves to be used in the promotion of our contest, including but not limited to print, radio, or
television, etc.
22.        Prizes advertised are based on the sale of 1000 holes. WE hereby reserve the right to change
the prize amounts based on the actual number of holes sold, more or less based on participation.

We would like to thank you for supporting our efforts to protect the environment and request that you
remove refuse, including cigarette butts, from the ice when you leave.  Glass containers are not
allowed in the contest area and will be confiscated by and forfeited to tournament officials. Waste
containers are provided. Beer, food, coffee and soda will be available on the ice from our vendors.
You may also bring your own, subject to search.

Tickets purchased up to January 23, 2008 will be mailed to you. After January 23 you will need to
bring your printed purchase receipt so you can pick up your tickets at the registration desk. We
accept Pay Pal and most major credit cards.
